Negro Please.....
I was having a fellow debate with a coworker about Martin Luther King today. He basically was telling me that MLK should be held in the same league with Jesus.
No this negro didn't...
Yes, he did and not only was he trying to convince otherwise, but he felt so passionate about his argument that when I failed to see the logic he walked on the conversation.
Has this boy been smoking some major blow or what?
How dare you even put King in the same league with Jesus. With the argument aside about what his facial features are - truly, he was a man that no living human can even come close to. Why? Because he's perfect, humans are not.
I know he's going with the argument that they both gave their lives, only one problem though, Jesus gave his so his Father wouldn't destroy the world, which means that Milk Jr. was only here through the graciousness of my Lord and Savior. Now don't get me wrong, I sincerely appreciate MLK Jr. doing what he did, however, he was not instrumental in the fight for Civil Rights. There were several others who weren't as well known who died for the reasons that he did. I have always thought it unfair that out of all of the people who died in the struggle, he was the only person who gets the national holiday (that isn't recognized by most corporate American companies by the way). What about Rosa Parks Day or better yet, Four Little Girls Who Died in a Birmingham Church Day?
Then what about King's own family? Fighting like some little bitches over who gets to play big man over their father's legacy? If anything they have all but destroyed what this man worked to get because of their retarded asses.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate what MLK Jr. did, but the two truths are:
1. He isn't in the same category as Jesus
2. He wasn't the only Civil Rights leader who fought for what's right
With that being said, I'm done.

The funsamental problem with people misrepresenting God or giving Him characteristics that aint His...is a misunderstanding of God. If you don't know who He is, then you say things that are not true.
How can divinity be compared with man? MLK was the bomb....but he aint God. Neither are we.
