Umm, I'm Sorry You Have The Wrong Person

I am sitting at my desk at work seething with anger.

A woman who just had a baby two weeks ago is sitting at her desk with the baby in the carrier beside her doing work.

What in the hell is wrong with this picture?

I'm sorry I don't care how much work I may have to get done, don't you dare call me on my fucking maternity leave to come in and do some damn work. You will get pleasantly and promptly cussed out.

I can still remember the immense pain that I was in after I had Peanut. Stitches going all the way up my asscrack (TMI I know!) I could barely sit my ass down, let alone sit at my hard ass desk chair without wanting to kill somebody. It's sheer insanity!

This isn't the first time something like this has happened just about every woman in this office that has had a baby has spent less than four weeks on maternity leave...........

FOUR FUCKING WEEKS!

You're not even released from under the care of your physician until six weeks. I took eight weeks off with my child. Even though I couldn't afford it really, this was time that I was never, ever going to have again so I relished it and my boss got a temp because she knew that I didn't play that shit.

It's sheer insanity people!

When I have my next child, you damn well better believe that I will not be working at this rathole of an employer.

Funkee take heed, spend time with your seed when he or she gets here. Don't let me hear nothing about you going back to work to sign for some folks with your baby on top of your head!
