These Are The Days of Our Lives
*Post Warning: If you have aversions to sappy love stories, please leave this site ret nah*
This past Friday, I took advantage of some stolen time with my sperm donor renamed. We went out to partake of Restaurant Week in downtown Atlanta. Basically, you get to eat really cheap (like 20.05 for a three course meal per person) at some high fallutin restaurants downtown where the average dinner tab will run you about as much as a monthly mortgage on a 90,000 dollar house with a 12% interest rate (all you mathematicians, figure that shit out!). Anyway, we went to Dailey's and enjoyed some decent food and the scenery. Nothing is more enjoyable than to see other cheap folks who wanted to floss just like me and my baby.
Well during Restaurant Week in Atlanta, you also get to enjoy deluxe accommodations at some of the finest hotels in Atlanta for the low as well (to the tune of 60.05 a night), so me being the oportunist that I am, booked a room at the swankiest hotel in Atlanta, next to the Intercontinental that is, at the Hyatt Regency. We spent exactly 28 hours in each others company. I didn't want to leave, and despite my beggings to God to not let this moment end, unfortunately it did at 1:15pm the next day. That's alright "G", you gave us a few hours that we needed badly. LOL.
We talked, we cried, we.....ummm, well I guess you know what being that we were in a hotel room and such. However, that wasn't the part that I enjoyed, it was just being in each others space that was enough for me. I actually can say without stuttering, I love this man.
I've stopped placing bets on things going wrong between us and decided to let God lead, I mean after all, it is up to him what happens.
